Our Story

Fuoriserie Co began in 2018 with the idea of creating affordable watches inspired from the golden age of motorsports when driving was still an analog process.

Our brand loosely translates from Italian to English as ‘mechanically bespoke’ and as such we’ve tried to combine the vintage aesthetics of classic cars with modern performance and affordability in mind.

The lugs of our watches are inspired by the bumper bars of a 1948 Cadillac, with leather straps that pay homage to vintage steering wheels and dials that are made from salvaged supercars.

We’ve put our heart and soul into this project so we hope you enjoy the blend of horology, motorsport and salvaged supercars.

Every single Fuoriserie Co watch is individually numbered and incorporates salvaged and recycled parts from an Aston Martin Rapide and a Ferrari 348 TB that were beyond repair. We incorporated doors and a bonnet into our manufacturing process and brought them back to life in a limited run of 300 watches.

Due to the variation of the patina in the recycled dials, all of our watches are visibly unique, tell their own story and feature a design that respects the car they came from.

We’re inspired by the innovators and the dreamers of the world. Our ethos and product embody this very spirit. They’re built on the dreams of people who have a desire for supercars, speed alongside an appreciation for precise timekeeping and sustainability by reusing car parts destined for landfill.

From concept through to design and testing, each stage is managed by the founder, David Giammetta at our Sydney workshop. Our watches are designed in Sydney, and made in China with Japanese Miyota 203A quartz movement.

We’ve hunted through Australian scrap yards and hand-picked parts from supercars to recycle into dials for our bespoke series of limited edition watches.

We take great pride in the watches we make, adhering to strict quality control practices. However, please be aware that working with reclaimed materials is labour intensive and unpredictable at the best of times. As such, no two watches are the same. Your Fuoriserie Co watch will contain evidence of its past use. This includes marks, scratches, dents, gouges and other imperfections. Both the Rosso Red and Storm Black editions show patina they’ve earned from thousands of kilometers of road and racetrack use. We consider these imperfections part of our brand’s aesthetic and, by not removing, but improving on them, we are creating a more sustainable product, that reveals the character of reclaimed materials.
